Milarepa Center will be offering a set of 3 Nyung Na Dec 30 – Jan 6th. Due to accommodation constraints this retreat is being limited to 10 people. There is a recommended donation of $108 per Nyung Na, but no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. This retreat is being offered on a first-come first-served basis with preference given to those who can attend the whole retreat.
Nyung Na is a practice of 1,000 armed Chenrezig, the Buddha of Compassion. It is an intensive 2-day purification retreat that includes fasting, precepts, prostrations, prayers, meditation, mantra recitation, and offerings. Nyung Na is extremely powerful for healing illness, purifying negative karma and opening the heart to compassion. The retreat will be led by Milarepa Center director, Merry Colony.
Please let me know if you would like to join us in ushering in the new year with purification and accumulation. If you are not able to attend the retreat feel free to send in a dedication. All dedications will be read at the close of each day.
