Work StudyMilarepa Center's Residential Work Study Program is dynamically suited for people who are interested in exploring life, work and practice at a Tibetan Buddhist retreat center. Participants are asked for a minimum three month commitment (however shorter options may be available) and to live according to our Buddhist Precepts for the duration of their stay: Respecting all life and avoiding killing and harming others (includes insects). Please note that you will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader for the work study application, if you don’t have it. Experienced CookWe are currently looking for an experienced Vegetarian Cook for our upcoming season. Specific Skills: Prepare and cook vegetarian meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plan menus, ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions. Prepare dishes for program participants with food allergies. Maintain a clean kitchen and work area.
